Open Book Management

It's likely that you have not heard of an "Open Book Company." As a Great Game of Business company, AMBAC is creating a culture of financial literacy by educating all employees on the goals of the business, asking each employee to take ownership of a 'line item' that drives those goals, and providing a stake in the outcome through rewards and recognition as those goals are achieved. At AMBAC we believe that if everyone understands how the company operates, how we serve our customers, and how we make money, the group will be more successful.

  • We share the companies financials and operational information with the whole team, at the same time. We teach each individual what the information means to them individually, and to the group as a whole.
  • Open Book Management means mean more than just sharing the financials. At AMBAC everyone has the opportunity to use that knowledge to improve our performance.
  • More than just sharing the information, we make decisions as an informed team. And when AMBAC wins, everyone wins. Through our Gain Share Program all employees a direct stake in the company's success.

In short, we aspire to be an organization that is fully engaged as a team to fuel our customer's success. Our goal is to have all of our team members think and feel like a business owner; in a fun, competitive, work environment.
